    Question Question formulation

How much do you need your money order for? Is this the best way to ask this question to somebody who is requesting a check/money order?

    Re: Question formulation

They have requested it: "I'd like a money order please" so the assistant would not repeat 'money order'.
He/she would say something like, "And how much is it for?"/ "How much would you like it for?"
