In case you praising plural number of girl's figure, by saying: "Those girls have .....", which would be grammatically correct?
Those girls have nice figures.
Those girls have a nice figure.
They have good postures.
They have good posture.
These things are so difficult and confusing for me.
1. Those girls have nice figures. <individual>
2. Those girls have a nice figure. <odd>
Here's the reason 2. is odd. Human beings come in different shapes and sizes. If all the girls have the same figure, then 2. wouldn't be odd.
1. They have good postures.
2. They have good posture.
Here's the reason. Good posture isn't variable as are figures. Standing up straight, sitting up straight, and walking straight is good posture. Being straight is good posture. There is no other kind of good posture, which is why 1. 'good postures' is incorrect.
