    Unhappy I dont understand this sentence

    they examined the characteristics of of the companies that had provided information of this type. they found that such companies were larger, had higher SYSTEMATIC RISK and placed greater emphasis on the long term.

    systematic risk???

    Systematic is an adjective describing risk. (What if "systematic" was "financial"?)

    It might be talking about computer systems, structural systems, or management systems. Depends on the type of company or industry.
