Can you tell me how the "floppy haircut" looks like?
Do you know anything about the "floppy haircut act" in the adaptation of "Sense and Sensibility" made by Ang Lee? What happened and why?
It is hair which is a bit long and flops over the face: Google Image Result for http://i.pbase.com/v3/50/48650/2/51233967.Smile20051009IMG_35451.jpg
I think the reference to Ang Lee is that the designers took liberties with early 19th century men's style, and gave them long floppy hair and this has become an accepted style for historical films.
