    sunglasses

    Hi

"see the world without sunglasses" - is this some idiom. Maybe it has something to do with bravery.

I can see the world without sunglasses now.

I could be used figuratively to mean, "I can now look at the world just as it is, with no filter to make it easier for me.'
There is an idiomatic expression, 'rose-colored glasses':
"She sees the world through rose-colored glasses," meaning she sees the world through the filter of her (distorting) optimism. Seeing the world without sunglasses may be related to this.

    Best wishes,

    Petra
