Hello~ Can you help me say this naturally please?
A: I would like to buy Bus Card.
B: ⓐ$5 deposit and the minimum you can top up $10.
ⓑ$5 deposit and the minimum you can charge $10.
A: ⓐHow much does it charge for using once?
ⓑHow much doese it take money off for once using?
B: It depends on how many stages you go but it takes $1 off for each zone.
A: ⓐOk, then could you top up $20 for me?
ⓑCould you charge $20 for me?
I'm a bit confused about “Top up” vs “Charge”
Do they have same meaning?
Can I say,, ?
I’d like to top up (=Charge) my mobile phone with $20.
I’d like to top up (=Charge) my cell-phone battery, do you the cable?
A Top up is a credit added to the card against which the charges are made. Each time you use the card, the sum required is a [debit] charge to the card.
