    Cool weird exercise...

    Hi,

I am studying modal verbs of probability at a night school and there is a question I do not understand.

Who is at the front door? (will, Tom). (we have to use will & Tom).
is the answer: "It will be Tom" sounds very strange to me....??

'It will be Tom.' is fine, it means that the person is expecting Tom to call.
