    Exclamation during

    Hello there.

Which one is better or correct?

    (A) When do you have the test? - Soon, during the first period.
    (B) When do you have the test? - Soon, during first period.

Not sure if I need "the" in this sentence.

    Anybody please advise me.

    Not a teacher.
You need the definite article when used with "during".

    Re: during

    Omit the 'the'
First period, second period etc., when referring to when classes are scheduled throughout the day in high school.
