    what kind of material

    is a bridal veil? What's the name for that fabric it's made with? And is satin same as silk?

    A bridal veil is normally made from tulle, often edged in lace. Silk and satin aren't the same. Silk is made from the cocoon of the silkworm, and it's much more expensive than satin. Satin mostly is made from acetate or polyester.
