What Does "Come To Think Of It" Mean?

My dictionary says it means" oh now I can remember"

But I think it should be"Just to think of it"

btw, what's the difference between "just to think of it" and "just to think about it"??

    Many thanks in adcance:)

It's an abbreviation of 'Now that I come to think of it'.

In 'Just to think of/about it' the 'just' means 'only' (not 'only just'):

'Just to think of the living conditions at GITMO makes me feel sick' =
'Just thinking of the living conditions at GITMO makes me feel sick' =
'Only thinking of the living conditions at GITMO makes me feel sick'

The difference between 'think of' and 'think about' is one of time.

"Whenever I think of her I feel happy." [The thinking is a single event.]
    but
"Thinking about her always makes me feel happy." [The thinking is an extended process.]
