    Dear friends,

I found some difficulties with this word 'pixielike' during reading a book.

The short girl was pixielike, thin in the extreme, with small features

I've tried to look it up but without result.

    What does 'small features' mean?

    My best wishes

    Re: pixielike

    thanks thod00,

I wonder how you imagine a pixielike girl?

for now pixielike sounds to me like some kind of freak.

but in a book I am reading this word is used in very wordly context.

I know that this word is generaly used in children's stories but what if i want to say that my neighbour is pixielike? How then she has to look like?
