Question "All the questions" - is this correct?

    Is it correct to say:
Can you answer "YES" to all the questions?

In my opinion it is not, I thought it was better to say: "Can you answer "YES" to all of the above questions?" anyway.

.. or maybe all the questions above.. ?

I'm quite confused now as I checked the dictionary.com and one of the uses of "all" as an adjective is:

"Being or representing the entire or total number, amount, or quantity: All the windows are open. Deal all the cards"

..there is an example for "all the cake" as well.

"all the questions" - Is it ok for use in business language?

    Thank you

Re: "All the questions" - is this correct?

Sorry, "Can you answer yes to all the questions" is fine. In fact, "all of the above questions" is quite awkward, and should read "all the questions above" or "all the aforementioned questions."

Thank you so much for you quick reply!

I thought it was a bit strange and though it might be ok to use in the pub, using it the brochure about our services is a bit unprofessional.

    thank you again :)

Question Re: "All the questions" - is this correct?

I just don't understand why we can say "all of them" but not "all of the questions".

What is the difference between "all the questions" and "all of the questions"?

    Anyone would like to disscuss?
    :)
