    About verb "apply" and prepositions :$

    Dear teachers:

    I'd love to know which ones of the following are correct? Which are wrong?

    1. I'm going to apply for this post.

    2. I'm going to apply this post

    3. I'm going to apply for this restaurant.

    4. I'm going to apply this restaurant.

    5. I'm going to apply in this restaurant.

    6. I'm going to apply for chef.

    7. I'm going to apply for being a chef

    8. I'm going to apply chef .
