    work on this all year

    Hi

In the UK, film-maker Richard Curtis had joined forces with the NGO's and coined the phrase "Make Poverty History". He and his partner Emma Freud were extraordinary. They did nothing else but work on this all year.

--- "work on this all year"? I'm not sure what they were working on all year? Maybe on propagating this campaign or maybe "idea"?

From what you've given us, it looks like they've spent the year working with NGOs to make poverty history.
