    run through jukebox


    Our audience deserves the best possible set of songs, not just running through some jukebox to keep ourselves amused.

    --- I understand that during the show they want to play the best songs. The latter part of the sentence is a bit unclear to me. Can you clarify it for me?

    I understand it to mean that they didn't want to play whatever old song came up next on the jukebox (this could be literal or figurative) Maybe there really was a jukebox in the text?
