    Is it correct?

Can you please tell me if there is anything wrong with this sentence?

A "Math Carnival" learning activity will be held on the morning of 31st March 2009.

Yes, but I meant to ask if the sentence structure is ok?

    Re: Is it correct?

Do you really think if there had been anything else wrong with the sentence I would not ALSO have corrected it?

I corrected all that needed to be corrected - the punctuation of the date.

I'm sorry if I've offended you, but it's just that my colleague keeps telling me that it's supposed to be:

A "Math Carnival" learning activity will be held in the morning of 31st March, 2009./

    Re: Is it correct?

The sentence is referring to the date it will be held.
It will be held on March 31st, 2009.

    becomes:

A "Math Carnival" learning activity will be held on Monday, March 31st, 2009.

    becomes

A "Math Carnival" learning activity will be held on the morning of 31st March, 2009.

    and then:
You are holding a "Maths Carnival" on Monday, March 31st, in the morning at a time to be notified.
