    Is this sentence correct?

Hi, dear teachers, is the following sentence correct?

Statement A is in conflict with statement B. So is statement C with statement D.
They are two sentences from the essay I'm writing. I wonder if the second sentence is correct. I wanna express: "Statement C is also in conflict with statement D". But since there're already too many "in inflict with" in my essays, I wanna use a "So" to make my phrases less repetitive. Is it correct?

    Thanks in advance:)
