    Please improve the sentence

    Dear Teacher,

Help! I am not sure if the following sentence for students’ compliance is correct:

“All students shall ensure that they are fully conversant with the procedures promulgated in the attached guidelines and comply with the procedural guidelines.”

    Alternatively, can I say:

“All students shall ensure that they are fully conversant and comply with the procedures promulgated in the attached guidelines.”?

Many thanks in advance for your advice!

    With best regards,
    Ily

    Re: Please improve the sentence

The best improvement is to reject long multisyllable words if there is a good shorter one available.

"Promulgated" >> given in / provided in, or just "in the ....".
