Can you help me understand this please?

Hello, there. I am reading an article about Doctor Who. I met this sentence.

"Davies added that it will be a packed end to the year, with a special in November and a two-parter at Christmas."

What are the green parts mean? I looked up some dictionaries, but I can not find its meaning.

The end of the year will be packed with ... something. Adventure, plot advances, new ideas... a lot will happen in the end of the year.

A "two-parter" means an episode that is twice as long as usual, and is shown either as a back-to-back double-length episode or as "to be continued" from one week to the next.
