May I know the meaning of the following words/phrases in red?
1) THAT'S TOO RICH FOR MY BLOOD
2) If you changed jobs and get paid less, you'll start to FEEL THE PINCH and you may have to give up your workouts and your weekend fun.
3) Does To FEEL THE PINCH has to be only affected by financial hardship? Can it be applied to other situation, like, "She never studied after school and she finally feels the pinch because tomorrow is the day for examination."
Thanks / ju
With prices having risen by more than 10% over the last five months, consumers are feeling the pinch (of increased petrol prices).
