Should there be "s" in this sentence ?

    Hello friends,

Can u check this sentence and tell me whether I'd use "s" with word compel in this sentence or not.

Sentence : Your views on miracle compels me to think otherwise or Your views on miracle compel me to think otherwise. Should there be "s" in the end of compel. If yes, then why ?

    Thanks

Re: Should there be "s" in this sentence ?

    Hi razer,

Your views on miracles compels me to think otherwise. [n]
Your views on this miracle compel me to think otherwise. [y]

Note that the sentence needs "miracles" to be plural, or it needs an article of some sort: You views on this miracle...

Either way, the subject of the sentence is "views" which is plural, so it takes the verb form "compel."
