    a sentence

    Hi

The author of this book is engaging in the application of human thoughts and desires to non human animals.

--- Does it mean that the author of the book tries to find out how animals think and about their desires and apply the same way of thinking and behaving to humans?

    Re: a sentence

The sentence makes no sense. Perhaps the writer meant something like "the ascribing of human thoughts...."?
