    having their cars obstruct/obstructing

Local residents are frustrated about having no place to park or having other cars obstruct/obstructing their driveways.

Should it be 'obstruct' or 'obstructing'?

    Thanks.

    Hi Tan Elaine,

Either one works and is acceptable. The progressive form, obstructing, adds more emphasis on a continuous action.
