Hello! I would greatly appreciate if you could help me to understand the red parts.
An individual's electronic presense on the internet is known as a Home Page-suggesting the safety and security of an electronic hearth. 1) An elaborate system of 3-dimensional graphics distinguishes this very 2-dimensional medium of 'web sites. 2)The nomenclature itself creates the illusion of a geographical entity, that the person sitting before the computer is travelling, when in fact the 'site' is coming to him.3) 'Address' of one knd or another move to the individual, rather than the individual moving between them, now that location is no longer geograhical.
The writer uses the word nomenclature here to mean terminology, and by doing so is specifically referring back to the term "Home Page."
As the writer finds within the term "Home Page" the suggestion of "an electronic hearth" (and thus a comparison between physical and "virtual" reality), so too does s/he find a parallel comparison between visiting someone's physical home and visiting a Home Page: In the real world, when one visits someone's home, one needs to physically travel to that location ("geographical entity"). Technology creates the illusion that one likewise travels when surfing the web, but the reality is in fact the reverse: The Home Page comes (is downloaded) to the browser.
