    Question word order

This is a question a teacher asked us:
Does English use word order to indicate the relationships of meaning between words?
I think that the answer is yes but i´m not sure. I also need examples.
    Thanks a lot!

    Re: word order

I got one for you—the position of adverbs. Placement of adverbs in English is somewhat flexible, and definitely influences the meaning. For example:

Strangely she wanted to dance with me.
(Being a leprous hunchback in a leisure suit, I was genuinely surprised by her invitation.)

She wanted to dance strangely with me.

(She wanted to do the cha-cha while we grasped each other's left foot.)
