    to collaborate /PLEASE CORRECT

I need to correct the following, please:

The original document says: ...to collaborate to a joint initiative.

    Is this correct?

I thought that it is better to say: ...to collaborate in (or on) a joint initiative ..

I would be grateful for your comments.
