    I or Me -- Me or I??

    Two situations...

First; is it 'my brother and I went to the market' or 'my brother and me went to the market'?

Second; is it 'they went with my brother and I' or 'they went with my brother and me'?

    Thanks...

Re: I or Me -- Me or I??

    Hi Jack Melano

While native speakers do indeed use "my brother and me went" and
"... went with my brother and I" (even I use those forms now and then),
here are the Standard English forms:

    1. My brother and I went to the market.
    2. They went with my brother and me.

    Test it

    1. We went ... <We and I are subject pronouns>
    2. ... went with us. <me and us are object pronouns>
