    That?

    Hi,

    I found strange in the following sentence:

    "That I love you is not guaranteed".

    Please tell me how it can work with "That + S + V+ O + V +O".

    Hi LeUyenHoc,

    I think that this sentence cannot be without "that" and
    "That I love you" is the subject of this sentence

    I think that the deep structure of this sentence is:

    The fact that I love you is not guaranteed

    or maybe:

    It is not guaranteed that I love you.

    So you think the sentence is correct, isn't it?

    I see such structure appears somewhere as well.
