    meaning

    Hi,

could you please tell me what "legal proceedings" means in the following sentence:

The distributor is not allowed to accept summons or any legal proceedings on behalf of the company.

Does it mean the process before court or any documents?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hanka

    Re: meaning

I think it's the courts here because of 'accept summons'.

    Re: meaning

But does it make sense? "Accept legal proceedings"?
