    correct preposition

    Training in karate under/by Shihan Jason Tan on Thursdays at 8pm at Kei Shin Kan gymnasium.

    Should it be 'under' or 'by'?

    When he was 15 years old, he started training in karate under Genchin Funakoshi.
    Canadian Kyokushinkai-kan Karate Organization - Kyokushin

    Started training in Chang Chuen Shu (Northern Shoalin Long fist) in 1990 under Chris Ellerker, Nigel Gilham and Andy Bellamy.
    Became full time training in karate under Rod Martin Sensei in Go Kan Ryu 1999.
