    stuffed up

    What is the meaning of "stuffed up" in this context?

    "Do you like me? Even though I'm stuffed up and totally crazed?"

    It doesn't have anything to do with e.g. her nose ("stuffed up nose") but rather with her character.
    Does it mean that she is troubled, a total mess, thinks too highly of herself... or something else?

    Thanks a lot!

    <stuffed>
    filled with mucus because of illness
    - My nose is stuffed (up). = I'm (all) stuffed up.
    - a stuffed (up) nose

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks, but it's not about nose, I have a feeling it's about her character.

    Yes, her nose has nothing to do with it.
    It means, as you say, her personality is messed up, mixed up, fucked up (impolite).
    No, she doesn't think too highly of herself - quite the reverse. It sounds like she has problems with self-esteem.

    Re: stuffed up

    'to stuff something up' means to mess it up, get it all wrong

    So - if a person says of themselves, "I'm stuffed up", it means 'I can't do anything right, I'm useless, a mess when it comes to trying to do anything, a totally defective human being.'
