    biological effectivenes (plural and singular usage)

    Please tell me, what sentence is correct? Thank you!

    1) The biological effectivenesses of X and Y treatments were estimated mutually and separately.
    2) The biological effectiveness of X and Y treatment was estimated mutually and separately.

    How about this:
    The biological effectiveness of X and Y treatments was evaluated jointly, as well as singly.
