    Question sentence

If there is an instruction to compose a complex sentence, can we reduce the adjective clause connector and the be-verb that directly follow it?

The woman is the tour guide.
    She is waving to us.

The woman who is waving to us is the tour guide. (A complex sentence)

The woman waving to us is the tour guide. Is this still a complex sentence?

The woman waving to us is the tour guide. Is this still a complex sentence?

The second is not a complex sentence, for it does not contain two verbs....

    Re: sentence

Note for the 2nd sentence: The adjective clause connector is omitted. The verbs are 'is' and 'waving.' I don't understand your advice.
