    use of insight

    Which of the following is correct?

    1. It gives `an insight into....` or It gives insight into,,,,
    2, Provides insight into.... or gives insight into.

    1 You could use either, depending on whether it was a single identifiable insight or broader and more general.
    2 They're both fine- in the British National Corpus, give occurs a bit more frequently.
