    blessed

Could someone please correct this sentence?

On behalf of X, I would like to inform you all that, by God's grace, she is blessed with a baby girl today morning.

    Regards,
    Muktha

I mentioned the number of syllables because, when used as an adjective, "blessed" has two: 'Blessed [/blesɪd/] are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy'*. This is sometimes underlined by the use of the spelling 'blessd'.

*Note: this is an example [and a quotation] rather than a statement of belief, although the statement seems fairly uncontentious!
