    The weather is cloudy today.

The sentence, "The weather is cloudy today." sounds a little funny to me...can someone tell me if it is correct?

It's quite grammatical, but it may sound odd to you because it's a bit excessive; it'd be more normal to say just 'It's cloudy today'.
