It would have been great to be at Live Aid.
Is this sentence gramatically correct?
I have been reading about Bob Geldof and I have found his life very interesting and I would have loved to have been at Live Aid.
The question was one of indicating the appropriate tense forms, which might then lead on to elucidating the 'why' - not literary style. It's like, we are examining a bug under a microscope for fleas, and you want to talk about whether the bug is pretty or not?

I wanted to comment on the flees too. BTW, grammar (Is it grammatically correct?) involves style, does it not?
David, please put me on your ignore list. Thanks.
