    Salutation ?

    When addressing a letter to a reverend who is also a doctor of theology should I write Rev. Dr. Jones or just Dr. Jones?

    Rev. Dr. Jones or Dr. Jones. (Martin Luther King Jr. was both, too.)

    I think you should use Rev. Dr. Jones, as it would be both respectful and mentioning his doctorate.
