    i want to know what are the main diffrences or i can say simply"when to use can or could?"

    can is used when you wanna talk generally about your capablities, what you can do, could is the past form, used when you wanna talk about what you were able to do in the past

    can and could, both are used in formal requsts

    for instance:

    can you open the door, please?
    could you open the door, please?
