    not as good as

    Which are correct:

    1-These aren't shoes as good as those.
    2-These aren't as good shoes as those.

    3-I don't wear shoes as good as you do.
    4-I don't wear as good shoes as you do.

    Excluding number one I think the rest are correct.


    2. means: this shoes aren't as good as those ones.
    3.Here 'good' in adverb and means I'm not good in wearing shoes as much as you are.
    4.Means: my shoes don't have the good quality as yours.

    None of these sound natural to me. 1. is certainly wrong.
    1. These shoes aren't as good as those.
    2. For singular things, you can use this pattern:
    He isn't as good a teacher as she is.
    3, 4 My shoes aren't as good as yours.
    You wear better shoes than I do.
    The shoes I wear aren't as good as yours.
    The shoes I wear aren't as good as the ones you wear.

    Again, for the singular, you can say:
    I don't have as good a teacher as you do.
    I'm not wearing as nice a dress as you are.
