    More explanation in parenthesis?

    IS this sentence correct:
Mana attended a "not-so-famous-high schol" but she has high stats ( high GPA ( not val or sal), good test scores and etc)

ARE the 2nd and 3rd parenthesis correct?

    Dear belly_ttt:

I find the multiple use of parentheses confusing. The reader would have to stop and take time to figure out your system. I think the thoughts would be better expressed in two sentences:

Mana attended a 'not-so-famous high school (why is this in " "?) but she did well. Although she wasn't Valedictorian or Salutatorian, she maintained a high GPA.

I think GPA is better than 'stats'. Depending on your audience you may decide to explain GPA: She maintained a high GPA (grade point average).

    I hope this is helpful,

    Petra
