What is the defferance between these sentences:
I changed my my mind
I changed my view
I changed my opinion
And why I didn't say:
I have changed my mind (with present perfect..
I changed my mind can be used in SOME situations where view and opinion cannot..
I ordered the chicken and salad.... but I changed my mind and decided to order the steak and salad instead.
I was going to go to the cinema but I changed my mind and went to the beach instead.
You can see that view and opinion cannot be used in this context.
When you are talking about what or how you think about something, then all three make sense.
I used to think that Mariah Carey was a good singer but now I have changed my mind/view/opinion.
In my mind/view/opinion it is important to eat fruit and vegetables everyday to be healthy.
I hope that answers your question!
