    Question Feed them goat

I have heard this expression several times but can not find a meaning anywhere.

    What does this mean ?

    Thanks !

    Re: Feed them goat

Where and in what circumstances have you heard it? It may be a simple and straighforward instruction: we can't feed them with beef or pork, we do not have any sheep, so feed them goat.

Or as Marie-Antoinette said: Let them eat goat. (Or something similar).

Oh no she didn't. Most likely source of this claimed statement is her Spanish predecessor 100 years earlier.
