    If in reference to a person, then it means someone who doesn't show affection.

    Incidentally, the form undemonstrative is also commonly used (more commonly, in my humble opinion). Same meaning, as per Soup's post.

    It can just mean not outwardly expressing one's feelings. In my experience however, it is usually used to describe someone who does not express affection or love physically, such as by touching or hugging. They might still show affection with smiles and kind words and deeds.
