    tenses

Hello. I wrote this phrase and I don't know if it is correct. Next year new amazing adventures are waiting for us. should I have used future continuous? are there any cases I could write it the way I did?

can we say give a speech about football?

    thank you!

Both of your examples are correct.
You could use "will be waiting for us", depending on your philosophy of time.
You would have to use the future continuous for concrete examples such as "Next year, our friends will be waiting for us".
