    I need a sentence

Hi I'm an English teacher and I have to write exercise on vocab. words(for learners between 6 to 7 years old) I looked up all the online dictionaries I found some but I didn't find the rest.

Could you please tell me only one sentence on each word, but bear in mind that the children are 6 or 7 years old:

    1. lifeguard
    2. diving board
    3. deck chair

Thank you for helping me whenever I ask for help

    Re: I need a sentence

Could you please tell me only one sentence on each word, but bear in mind that the children are 6 or 7 years old:

    1. lifeguard
    2. diving board
    3. deck chair
How about these for some ideas:

1a. The lifeguard jumped into the pool and saved the boy.
1b. The lifeguard saved the drowning boy.
1c. The lifeguard can swim very well.

2a. The boy can dive off the diving board.
2b. Our swimming pool has a diving board.
2c. The girl jumped off the diving board and into the pool.

3a. There is a deck chair near the swimming pool.
3b. The girl is sitting near the pool in a deck chair.
3c. The boy is sitting in a deck chair next to the pool.

This is tough because I don't know what other words these kids might know; however, these seem like rather specialized vocabulary words for kids that young learning English, so I have to assume they have acquired a moderate amount of other vocabulary. If these are beyond the scope of their abilities, then there's always sentences like This is a deck chair and He is a lifeguard, etc.

I would be happy to be of more help to you if there's more information you can tell me about the kids' level of English, or what question formats you are intending to use, such as matching, fill in the blank, multiple choice, etc.

    Hope this is helpful.

I'm really speechless.A million thanks for your great effort and help, Thanks again.
Concerning your words I don't understand if your are asking to offer more help or to know more about question formats.

If it's because you want to offer more help , it's more than what I needed but if it's for you .... The question formates we use in a vocab. exercise : Choose, match related words, complete using the following words and Write true or false.

I want to thank this site because there is a professional teacher like you here

I just meant that if the sentences I suggested really missed the mark, I would be happy to try again with additional information, that's all.

You're very welcome. The fact that I was actually able to help you is thanks enough.

    Good luck with your efforts!
