Post Difference between would and may?

    Respectable Teachers,

Could anyone please clear my doubts along with the following questions?
When should one use "may" and "would" in a sentence?
    This is a situation:
A soldier was wounded in the battlefield. He was healed by an incognito. The healer vanished into the air then. The soldier's mate wondered and said to the soldier, "He would be a doctor".

    Which one is exact?

    1.He would be a doctor.
    2.He may be a doctor.
    3.He might be a doctor.
    4.He could be a doctor.

I humbly request the teachers to guide me, when to use would, could, might and may.

    They are all possible.

1.He would be a doctor. (... if he had studied hard years ago). He's not a doctor, he would be if...

2.He may be a doctor. (... or a chiropractor, pay attention and you will eventually find out, he likes to talk shop). No one knows if he is or not, they are guessing.

3.He might be a doctor. (... considering his people skills and his knowledge of Medicine).

4.He could be a doctor. (... as well, he took classes in the university medical schools, despite being a pharmacist)
    I am not a teacher.

    Others may differ in opinion.

Without any context provided, except for #1, they all express a possibility of someone being a doctor in present time. #1 is talking about a hypothetical situation regarding future time.
