    sentense structure not very clear

    Dear Teacher,

Following a quote from a business interview:

"But with a low unit cost product obviously the further we export the more expensive the freight becomes".

what are the subject, verb and the object of this sentense ?.

    waiting for your kind reply.

    Thanks!!!

Not a teacher. Is it easier to comprehend after punctuated?

There's probably a case for writing "a low unit-cost product", ie. a product whose cost per unit is low. The sentence is also hard to understand because, at least as it seems to me, the freight would become more expensive the further they had to ship it, regardless of whether is was a low-cost product.

    [not an exporter]
