    'How does he look like?' versus 'What does he look like?'

    I'd like to ask about the question:

    How does he look like?

    Do natives use it? If yes, is it often used? Does it mean the same as:

    What does he look like?

    If the question had already been answered somewhere in the forum, please send me the link.

    No. We might say "How does he look?" but that usually means we want a judgment on his appearance. Does he look good in the new haircut or stylish in the new suit? "What does he look like?" requests a description of his appearance: hair color, eye color, body type, prominent facial features, etc.

    I still remember the argument with my english teacher about "How" and "What" in this case, as nonsense's post, "What ..." is the clearest question if you want to his outlook, and "How ..." is a bit far from the same aim.
