    Red face Is the following correct?

    I would leave out the comma after 'sharp'.

    Yes, it's grammatically correct. I would write:
    Their sharp, black eyes, which look as though they were stitched on by a doll-maker, dart left and right.
    In the original, I had to pause to recognise that "looking" is used in the passive sense of "appearing" rather than the "eyes looking" actively. But perhaps that's a literary affect that you are trying to achieve.
